Summary
|
After Heather witnesses a doctor's fatal misdiagnosis, Olshansky attempts to expose the doctor's wrongdoings and gets Heather fired from the hospital in the process. When Heather tells Olshansky about the doctor altering his records to cover-up the truth, Olshansky suggests secretly informing reporter Emily Carson (Jennifer Westfeldt) who can then investigate the story for her paper. However, Emily's inquiries make it evident to the hospital that Heather was her source. Meanwhile, Olshansky's desire to continue his budding romance with Faith (Bebe Neuwirth) is sidetracked by Heather's mounting problems and an unexpected moment of passion with her. Also, Grizz stands up for Beth (Lindsay Crouse) when a bishop questions her worthiness to head St. Victor's after school program.
