Summary
|
Olshanksy is shocked to discover that a crime king is blackmailing Marcellus into framing a bookie for gun trafficking. After half-heartedly agreeing to look into the case of Nick Bennett (Michael Hayden), a bookie whose seedy lawyer and brash wife swear is being framed for gun trafficking, Olshansky is shocked to discover that Marcellus, the arresting officer, personally planted the weapons. When Marcellus admits to Olshansky that he's being blackmailed by crime king Jack Shannon (John Dossett) with information that could cause Marcellus to lose his wife and son, Olshansky has to figure out how he can possibly help his desperate friend without adversely affecting the life of the innocent Nick - and vice versa. Meanwhile, Mike and Heather finally have a civil conversation about what drove her away from him.
