| | All new, the Magic Kid 2 Photo Gallery. Be sure to look out for the Easter Eggs of the St. E crew. Interestingly, this movie was released on VHS in Canada under the name of Ninja Kids 2. It's the exact same movie, just a different name and different box art. | |
| Effective Monday, July 16, 2001, Bravo has pulled St. Elsewhere from their schedule at Episode 65. I've contacted Bravo about this both by phone and by email and received a voice mail message in reply. The short answer is that St. Elsewhere has been cancelled, to be replaced by Moonlighting in the earlier time frame and Thirtysomething and Cold Feet in the later time slots. I had been enjoying the show so much it's very frustrating to be cut off right during the middle of the series. You can call them at 1-800-531-0002. Maybe if enough of us write, we can get them to finish airing the series. |
| The North American Premiere of Hearts in Atlantis will be a Gala Premiere at the Toronto Film Festival September 6 - 15th, 2001. No screening dates available, yet. The complete film title list for the festival will be available on their site on Tuesday, August 21st, 2001, after 2:00 pm. No news, yet, if The Slaughter Rule will be on that list, but stay tuned for more info on this flick, as it's rumored that it will premiere there, as well. Thanks for the tip, Susan! | | Hollywood Confidential on the Reel.com site features some great buzz about Hearts in Atlantis and even mentions Anthony Hopkins as a possible Oscar contender. | | A new release for Diary of a City Priest? A representative of the Independent Television Service (itvs.org) has said that the producer who made Diary of a City Priest "has since had an offer to do a limited theatrical release of the film and so he will screen it in an art house theater somewhere in New York in the coming months. ITVS will then re-offer the program to public television stations in 2002, and your public television stations will have another opportunity to broadcast it." A limited theatrical release? Could that mean it might be released in markets in addition to New York? And then, maybe, a video release? One can only hope! | | | |
