The Slaughter Rule Region 1 DVD is now available for pre-order from DVD Empire. Priced at $19.99, the DVD will be released on February 18, 2003.
In other DVD news, The Indian Runner Region 1 DVD, whose release date had been delayed, has now been officially cancelled by the studio. (12/3)

The fast nationals ratings are in for Friday's 11/29 repeat of the Hack pilot episode:
"At 9 p.m., Hack held on to CBS' lead with a 6.0/11, ahead of the Muppets on NBC, 5.4/10. ABC went the comedic route with The Drew Carey Show, 3.3/6, and Whose Line Is It Anyway? 2.9/5. FOX stuck with its movie, 2.1/4."
The Overnight ratings are in as well with Hack scoring a 6.4/11.

Here's a summary of the final ratings after the 11/22 Hack Bad Choices episode:
"At 9:00 PM, Hack (7.2/13, 10.55m) had its best households, viewer and adults 25-54 delivery since Oct. 11. The drama was first in viewers, households (tie, NBC) and boomers (4.5/11, tie NBC) and second in women 25-54 (4.2/11) -- and compared to the time period last year the Network was up +125% in households, +119% in adults 25-54, +200% in boomers, +121% in women 25-54, +108% in men 25-54 and +47% in adults 18-49." "At 9 p.m., Dateline NBC averaged 7.3/13, finishing just ahead of CBS' Hack, 7.2/13. Another hour of Home Videos kept ABC in third, while FOX's movie, 4.3/8, stayed in fourth."

This press release from Philly TV Station KYW-3 says:
"Hack's David Morse and Matthew Borish, Pyramid's Donny Osmond, Entertainment Tonight's Mary Hart and UPN 57's Judge Mathis will join KYW-3 and its sister stations this holiday season in launching the 14th annual Joy of Sharing toy collection campaign for the area's deserving children ...
Celebrities Morse, Borish, Mathis and Hart will be encouraging station viewers through special public service announcements they have recorded to donate new, unwrapped toys to the campaign." (11/21)

"At 9 p.m., Dateline kept NBC in first place, 8.1/15, while CBS stayed in second with Hack, 6.5/11. FOX moved up to third with John Doe, 4.1/7. The Drew Carey Show on ABC struggled in its new Friday home with a 3.9/7, followed by Whose Line Is It Anyway? 3.5/6." (11/16)

The Golden Horse Awards ceremony (the Chinese equivalent of the Oscars for Chinese language films) were held Nov. 16 in Taiwan's second-largest city, Kaohsiung.
David was nominated for Best Supporting actor for his role in Double Vision, however according to Yoshiko of the DMFSJ, actor Anthony Hong (Princess D) is the winner for the Best Supporting Actor. He was the favorite.
However, it is quite an honor that David was even nominated! Yoshiko also points out that David must be the first one to be nominated for the Golden Horse without speaking Chinese in the film.

David Sitbon is a forensic autopsy technician II for the Philadelphia Medical Examiners Office, and when the Songs in the Night episode was filming at his work location, he got a background role in the show! The CBS Cares Post-Polio Public Service Announcement featuring David Morse was pre-empted by football on Sunday night, November 10. However, Watch Becker this Sunday, November 17, 8:00 PM EST/PST for David Morse's Post-Polio Public Service Announcement. Once the PSA airs, it will be featured here, on David Morse Online.
In the meantime, you can check out David's other PPS PSA and his Bodian Award acceptance speech.
The CBS Post-Polio PSA will air between 8:00 and 8:30 ET once a month and is scheduled to air on December 11, 2002 during 60 Minutes II.(11/15)

The most recent story is from Al Folsom, whose twin sons, Ed and Sam are featured in the upcoming Hack episode on November 15, 2002, Songs in the Night. (11/11)

"At 9 p.m., Dateline kept NBC in first place, while CBS stayed in second with Hack, 6.7/12. FOX moved up to third with John Doe, 4.1/7. The Drew Carey Show on ABC struggled in its Friday debut. Back-to-back episodes averaged 3.5/6."
In preliminary national ratings,
"CBS ran fourth on Friday in adults 18-49 and second in total viewers, led by Hack (preliminary 10.1 million, 2.4/8 in 18-49), which tied for third in 18-49 and tied for second in 25-54. "
